Cosmetic Surgery and Plastic Surgery
Without cosmetic surgery many people would go on feeling unhappy with their appearance, leading to unhappiness in a variety of ways; they could feel self conscious about leaving the house, uneasy about people seeing a certain body part or they could suffer from pain or discomfort.
Plastic surgery, far from being a field that seeks to give people perfect body parts to flaunt in front of movie cameras, is actually an area that seeks to improve on people’s appearances to help them in regards to their happiness. It means that if someone is self conscious and as a result unhappy by the sight of wrinkles forming around the eyes, or eye bags making an unwelcome appearance, then they could undergo blepharoplasty so improve their appearance.
Other forms of cosmetic surgery might include liposuction cosmetic surgery (in which excess fat is removed from areas of the body), tummy tucks (also known as abdominoplasty in which excess skin is removed), facelifts (removing wrinkles from the face), rhinoplasty (also known as a nose job), breast enlargement, breast reduction and many more.
Cosmetic surgery has come a long way over the years and is showing no signs of disappearing any time soon.
